Wen-Li Chen is a bilingual independent visual communication designer from Taiwan, currently based in St. Paul, Minnesota.
She has been working as an independent visual communication designer and photographer since 2009 with a smattering of different collaborations between photographers, artists, designers, musicians, and poets.
In her early career , she focused on serving creative individuals and small businesses to develop their design projects in unique way based on each different need with research and analysis until now.

Recently projects she did were one of En-Man Chang’s print design for 2019 Singapore Biennale and website layout design for Jennifer Nevitt’s online portfolio.
Thinking of design as a tool within interests in literature, film production and photography to reflect research-based content in depth. Most recent projects include, but are not limited to artist books, exhibition catalogs, artist/artisan Online portfolio websites, logos, posters, event promotional materials, conducting workshops and lectures, writing, etc. in the field of education, art, music, and non-profit organization.
She is also interested in how design can integrate with the educational purpose to impact or influence early child learning development in the rural area by organizing and founding FOGSTAND Gallery as an experimental platform to witness change and progress as lead designer.
Recently she has taught at UW-STOUT as adjunct of GDIM program for Graphic Design I during 2015-2018. She also works as PT drawing instructor at Young Rembrandts as well as PT Aftercare Program staff at Yinghua Academy from time to time.
She mainly focuses on art direction, digital design and print design. Her guiding principle is as simple as it is selective:
• Assistant in developing and realizing all aspects of design for creative individuals, small businesses and non-profit organizations.
• Build a ever-growing international network of collaborators in the fields of design in order to meet clients wide ranging special needs with understanding of unique culture and custom.
